Re: Hip and Elbow scores... what do they mean?

Hi there, To have Charlies hips and elbows scored he must be 12months old, even in Australia. The vet should not do it before then. Xrays are taken and either sent to the AVA (Australian Veterinary Association) for scoring or to a number of Radiologists in Australia who are qualified in scoring, we ...

Re: Introducing Wellington

Congratulations on such a beautiful doodle. I just love the name Wellington. We have named one of our puppies Scooby Doo and he loves it, i just shout "Scooby Doo, where are you" and he comes charging into the kitchen with a big smile and his tail wagging waiting to see what he has been called in fo...

Re: Passed Stage 1

Stardoodle I think you really need to explain yourself. Your Assessor must be aware that all Assistance Dog Trainers/Assessors have a duty of care to the disabled to help them acheive the goals to have an Assistance dog if they really need one. And any secrecy is not part of the Assistance Dog Proto...

Re: Fur over Eyes?

I was told by the eye vet when my dogs went for their yearly eye tests that it is important to keep the eyes clear so they can see as this can effect there vision when they are puppies...

Re: Goldendoodle?

I am a big lover of goldendoodles but that first picture on you last post looks awful, why are they in the box, they should be running around in the garden or the house having fun, chewing chairs, eating door frames and playing with loads of toys and if it was summer time they should be out in the g...

Get your facts right lady.

Adam does an awful lot for Rescue over here..

Check your facts.... who is calling who sock puppets..

What about human welfare, and the impact it has on them as well.

Re: Passed Stage 1

That is excellent news. Glad to hear. Maybe you might like to let people know where and how you got accredited so they too can be able to enjoy their life with an owner trained assistance dog in the UK. I know there are many people in the same boat as you who would like to be able to be given the op...

Re: who allows their dood on the sofa?

Hi Sami, Yes as we didn't have 6 months to prepare for our journey to Australia we had to put the dogs through quarantine, even though it wasn't the best they are here with us now and we have all got through it and none of us would have it any other way. If you are serious about coming out it might ...

Re: who allows their dood on the sofa?

Actually they are Christmas sacks with all their own names individualy embroidered on them and if you bothered to look closly enough you can see the Christmas decorations printed on the material, it took me days to make but I loved every minute of it, Adam helped a lot as I am not as fit as I use to...

Re: who allows their dood on the sofa?

We do and we wouldn't have it any other way. Will get some photo's up when I get a chance of Christmas day what an awsome day that was with all the Doodles opening their presents with their Doodle friends and family. Home is not a home without a Doodle to cuddle up to or a few, whilst watching TV. I...

Re: Eye Testing

Im afraid you friend is incorrect unless they have changed it in the past 2 years. Any dog that is not a Pedigree is tested via their Microchip and any parentage details can be added to the paperwork as well, if they wish. That is how I have always done it here and in Australia. Any breeders with an...
