2ND GENERATION

Hi 2nd generation means the puppy is from labradoodle to labradoodle parents both of whom should be 1st generation labradoodles(ideally poodle mum hip scored lab dad) there is no guarantee to coat type but the breeder should be able to tell when the pups are young what they will turn out like.

HIP SCORE

Personally if you dont intend to breed from your dog I wouldnt hip score as you are subjecting your dog to a large anesthetic unecessarily although vets are good occasionally anesthetic can go wrong.

HI Mike you can use your microchip number or if you dog is registered with the Companion DogClub it only cost £10 for life. Ideally a dog should be scored at 1 year old as the older they get the worse the score Good Luck if one vet cannot do it try another

I think the only way the Kennel Club will recognise the breed is if we keep it pure (no back crossing) we are not Australian Labradoodles but a breed in our own right the Aussie have added Wheaten Terriers Bearded Collies and god knows what else we hopefully have only been naughty by back crossing t...

Hi Labradoodles are good for allergy sufferers but there are no guarantees it is not always the hair that is the problem but the dander in the coat I would suggest try and meet a doodle and see how you get on. poodles are good but not everyone can cope with the grooming needs, its personal choice rea...
