Re: Mabel savagely attacked - Do we report the dogs?

Firstly, I'm so glad that Bella is unfazed and unharmed and none the worse from her dreadful attack. What a little star! I think you are in a very awkward situation. But I think you have got your answer from all the replies on here. Let me add my thoughts if it will help. At the back of my garden we...

Re: EARS

I was going to suggest Thornit powder too. It makes plucking amazingly easy - dont know why but the hair just comes right out. It has a mild anaestheic in it I believe. I would try this before a trip to the vet because they will more than likely give a light general anaesthetic and pluck them, costi...

Re: KIMBERLENES

Well said Anna. I dont quite know what point is trying to be made but it doesnt matter to me anyway. Amos is fantastic. Steve was really helpful when we got Amos, he advised on temperment, coats etc, and on the couple of occasions that I have had to ring him since, has been equally helpful.

Re: How can I stop my doodle from chasing things?

Hi Bid - suggest you find yourself a brick wall and then proceed to bang your head against it. I think this might just give the best results.
You just gotta love 'em tho dont you.

Re: We met a new doodle today!

Bid, you are sooooo right. Amos just adores every other dog and wants to bounce all over them. They might not neccesarily feel the same way about him but....... My last dog, Bracken, border collie, really didnt like other dogs much at all and would snap at them when the did the bum sniffing bit. Bit...

Re: Lost the Fun Factor?

I have an enormous amount of respect & admiration for both of them & I think it would be a sorrier site without them. Rob has managed, many times, to lighten the mood when things have become 'heated' and they both contribute ALWAYS with helpful, supportive or just plain amusing posts! How could we ...
