Re: Nothing like a doodle...

I agree, I too would be gutted to find out one of my pups had not lived up to the expectations of their owner. I give no guarantees as regards to coat, just temperment and hopefully pick family homes that love there pup whatever it turns out to look like.

Teddy is 6 years old today

He is such a good boy, cannot fault him in anyway whatsoever, he is now six which makes me feel quite a bit older too, but he is still the most gorgeous dog I have ever known, my soulmate and my bestest ever doggy friend. He got a roadkill stuffed toy pheasant for his pressie and some other munchie ...

Re: My Tilly won't eat and keeps retching.

I would get her checked out by a vet, she may have swallowed something she shouldn't. We had a 5 month old pup who swallowed a plastic bag (we didn't know at the time), he was coughing a retching for a couple of days, but still eating and drinking, luckily he passed the bag in a poop and all was wel...

Re: Why do breeders put new born pups in a crate?

Here's a suggestion which I got from Janet P. and we did this with our pups at 4 weeks old. We turned the whelping box upside down and made a penned area off it with a couple of large plastic trays (garden centre jobbies) lined with newspaper. The pups could then go in and out of the whelping box fo...

No, sadly they are not allowed off the lead and the game keeper has the right to shoot dogs that are worrying the deer!

Lovely pics and video, bless him!

Will try to put some pics of Minnie on later, she is not so leggy yet, but plumper looking around the middle, mainly because of her coat.

Re: Hill's Science Diet (+ other products)

Sorry Linda, I don't know much about cat food, but I will have a look into it and get back to you. Otherwise I'm sure Frosty will know. Have a look on here http://www.messybeast.com/cat-food-industry.htm quote from the dog food project "All scientific evidence points towards the fact that dogs, whil...

Re: Looking for a Golden doodle breeder

I can also understand what you are saying Lou but the size of both parents doesn't mean that the Dam won't throw a large pup and the Poodle is more slender then a Labrador or retriever. As humans we have the luxury of scans so if a mother is going to deliver a baby to big for her then she is offere...

Not too sure where they all are, but you are right, just enjoy your dogs and your lives and leave aside the petty squabbles others need to thrive in thiers.
