Re: Getting a second dog

I agree to wait but it is hard and I didn't, I got Truffle when Teddy was 6 months old. Teddy was absolutely fine about it and enjoyed having another dog to run with but Truffle was a very naughty puppy she nipped around his ears and caused horrendous sores, he never complained but it was definitely...

Re: Help-Faggle's Discovered Cat Poo!!!!

Horrible I know, mine love it too. Are you going to training classes yet? You need to work really hard on the 'leave it' command. You start off with your puppy on the lead (2 people may be useful for this one initially). Put a goodie on the floor in front of him but out of reach and tell him to leav...

The Dog Food Project

Sorry if this has been posted before, but this is an excellent link for people to find out more about dog food ingredients and work out whether they are feeding their dogs rubbish or not. It does not back any individual manufacturers or recommend individual products but explains alot about nutrition...

Re: help with eyes

i gave him a bath the other day and have been washing his eyes with boiled water and it seems to have got a bit better. The vets phoned to say they will do a swab (how much will this cost  ). I haven't yet trimmed him and was wondering if the around his eyes needs a trim. Can this irritate h...

If that is the case, then I do believe this person is in genuine need of help, just not via a Labradoodle forum.

Re: looking for a new family member

It's a hard one because a young pup needs constant stimulation, doodles love human contact and hate to be left alone for long periods of time. I would say that you shouldn't leave a pup alone for more than 3 hours and you need to make sure that he/she has been fed and toiletted prior to leaving him/...

Re: Has anyone tried Trophy Foods?

Trophy foods do not do any animal testing. Got some samples myself at Paw's in the Park recently, went down well with the doods, but I have decided to go a more natural, grain free route with dried feeding, mostly I do barf which I did tell the guy but obviously he is hopefull to win me over with 2 ...

Re: lowest doodle hip scores

They don't ask for parental info, make sure you state labradoodle under the breed question and then obviously the KC part of the form is n/a, also you need to state a microchip itentification no if you don't have a KC no. I'll pm you with Teds form so you can see what you need.
