Hi there all at Labradoodle Rescue, We have a sandwich bar in Stanningley Leeds and have decided to buy something really cool for a raffle which we will do in January to hopefully cheer everyone up. All proceeds for Labradoodle rescue. Also do you think there is a way of holding a mass sponsored wa...

Re: A Christmas Appeal

No - dogs are not put on the website until they have been happily rehomed - I suggest that you contact the Rescue throught the website. All the dogs that have been rehomed have been youngsters - a sad reflection of the "Doodle Fashion Boom" of the past couple of years, I think! I'm sad that you will...

Re: A Christmas Appeal

My trouble is my OH Catherine - he absolutely forbids me to foster - he knows that I would become too attached. We have had a couple of rows about it - but he is immovable - although he has conceded to let me foster a dog who has a definate new home to go to, and as long as its only for 2 days max! ...

A Christmas Appeal

Hello all Doodle-lovers. You will have noticed all the recent posts about ads for pups "ready in time for Xmas" - and we all know that a "dog is for life - not just for Christmas"... At Labradoodle Rescue we have had our hands surprisingly (and sadly) full of late. It is clear that the number of Doo...

Ah, Karen - are you saving one of the Scrumplets for me - until I can persuade OH to let me have a friend for Mupps  ?

Re: Reduced for quick sale!!!!!!!!

Met a lady yesterday who got her pup from these breeders (now 8 months old). She had said that they were considering getting another Dood from them, but this ad has connvinced her never to go there again! Poor pups - like Barb says, I imagine that many pups elsewhere do get disposed of as "surplus s...

Re: site not working?

I agree Carole.

Many of the new users on this site are unaware of the mine-field that is puppy-purchase. A good, unbiased and properly policed puppy finder is essential IMHO. Sadly, many of these pups end up being rescued (and we have re-homed so many in just the past few months).
