Assault on a domestic appliance

Hello All, Can i just ask how your lovely doodles (and assorted other canines) cope with the hoover. Abbey was initially scared of it, so we did the psycho things our trainer suggested and then she was fine. Bout 4 weeks ago she started barking at the hoover and getting really excited when it was ne...

Re: Speculation

Abbey is almost 5 months - Actually it was your pics of Fizzy that made me decide to do this thread. i saw that she looked a lot like Abbey in terms of being quite short haired. I was wondering if and when this would change as I know that there are lots of quite flat haired doodles as well as the cu...

Speculation

Hi All, Here are a couple of up to date pics of Abbey. I was just wondering, from all your knowledge, if anyone felt able to say how they feel Abbey's coat will end up at all. She looks so cute at the mo (like she has had a few curlers in her back) to create lots of waves in her back fur, though it ...

Re: Another daunted newbie!!

LOL!! Flossie - counting your chickens?

Anna and M

Yep counting chickens and all other forms of poultry after last night! :D

Still, I think it was more OH fault for obviously not letting her out when she wanted to go, I waived away his protests that she had not told him she needed the loo.

Re: Pictures of Fizzy!

Good Fizzy for being ruled! My 3 cats had Abbey well in her place for the first 5 weeks - then she realised that she was just an incy wincy bit bigger than them and that they really hated it if she tried to play with them (totally beneath them this dog thing) So she now terrorises the poor things - ...

Re: Bentley the hoover

I too have made the house "child and Dog" friendly with gates etc.. but to allow the cats to still be able to come and go they have a flap through a couple of the doors that are shut that dont have gates on. I seriously (and I mean seriously) started to doubt my sanity, when Abbey kept appearing in ...

Re: Another daunted newbie!!

My baby is now nearly 21 weeks and is housetrained, settled at night and occasionally listens to what we say (tho' this is completely selective) So you will get there

I would like to amend my post slightly - "Housetrained" Mmmmmmm

Re: Bringing the puppy home.

I'd just second what Anna said in her post about doing what you feel is right for you and your baby, just go with the flow. I was going to put Abbey in the footwell, just did not feel right and she snuggled into me all the way home on my lap (in between the vomiting) which was another good reason I ...
