Re: Alabama Rot!???

There have just been two cases recently identified in the New Forest the first since March last year - be careful of scaremongering by the media! Yes it is a problem but is only in a couple of areas of the NF - Tiptoe area and Wilverley inclosure. Three of the dogs treated by Anderson Moores - the s...

Hi Ladies
There are a few of us in the area - are either of you on Facebook?
There is Southampton & area doodle page - PM me know if you are on FB & I'll add you to it.
We often have walks usually in the New Forest; Henigstbury Head & I'm planning on organising on at West Wittering on Feb 8th.

Re: 11 week old- how much / often can he be walked

I'm with Bid - I do think that puppies limit themselves to what they can cope with. Whenever we've had puppies to stay they run for a bit with the other dogs but then trot close to me when they get tired. This is on grass though so not the same as road walks. After all we don't limit our toddlers to...

Re: New member

I agree with Liz about making sure that the parents are health tested - a breeder that health tests is more likely to know the genetics of her dogs & what their potential coats will end up like. The further through the generations you go the more you are likely to know what they will be like althoug...

Colin doesn't have many brain cells either but then what do you expect with a name like Colin?!!
Yesterday he tried to retrieve a buoy from the sea - the only problem it was attached to the sea bed!! He couldn't understand why it wouldn't come with him!!

Re: Moving house! How do we settle her in?

We moved into our new house just 5 weeks a go with our two. One of them barked a bit the first night but have settled very quickly. Colin was a bit unsettled but is fine. They went from sleeping in the utility room sharing the crate to sleeping on beds in the kitchen. We didn't let into the lounge a...
