Re: Swimming in cold weather ?

We live by the sea - Colin is obsessed with water & will go in regardless of the temperature!!
I wouldn't worry, dogs aren't stupid - they know how much they can do, just take plenty of towels with you!

Re: Sedation and leaving your dog

Poor Aero - it doesn't sound like he's a very sympathetic vet.
I use Riverside in Bishops Stoke - they are ok.
They are used to doodles as Debbie takes all hers there as well.
We're doing a walk at Henigsbury Head on Saturday 28 at 11am if you're free?

Re: Doodles lost in Hants

I've heard that they weren't on the local news but an item has been recorded for the "Inside Out" Programme to be aired in January.

Re: Doodles lost in Hants

I don't think they have been found - I know there is still a lot of activity in searching for them, one of the owners has a very prem baby in hospital at the moment - so lots of stress. :(

Re: Don't know what to do!

I think you're more likely to get food poisoning from raw chicken than the dogs!!!
Mine are raw few & love chicken carcasses!
Just make sure you wash your own hands well after touching it! I did get campylobacter (diarrhoea) but that was before I had the dogs!!!

Re: Dont know I can leave him

We've looked after several dogs & I have to say that our wonderful dogs don't really miss us when we leave them!! All the dogs we have looked after, they just get on with things & don't mind that they've been left!!!
It's us that miss them!

Re: Thinking off buying a australian labradoodle

Hi Australian Labradoodles are great dogs, I have two aussies and one F1. Good luck with your search. Being curious - what's the difference between the two different kinds of doodles? People who have an Aussie say they are very different - but how :? The Aussie's tend to be more laid back, usually ...

Re: Thinking off buying a australian labradoodle

Thank you - neither Bid's or my dogs are Aussie's although mine did come from Debbie - Dexter the black one is an F1 (first generation) & Colin is a F1B (doodle mum & poodle dad)
