Re: The moon
Bella has tried to jump up to catch the moon before, it's the only thing she could have been going for, between jumps she was just sitting staring at it, transfixed!

Quick update, think we have decided upon Leven Beach, very helpfully I have never been there before but we are going to meet up beside the Caravan Park, if anyone knows where that is!

Re: Burns dog food?
We weaned our last litter onto Burns, it wasn't my first choice but there was two feet of snow on the ground and no deliveries could get through, Burns was about the best I could find locally. That being said they did very well on it and I'm considering weaning the next litter on Burns too (next lit...

Fife Doodle Meet - Sat, 24th September 2011 at 2pm
At the moment this is "Destination Unknown" but open to suggestions. I believe the beach at North Queensferry could be a possibility but I haven't been there yet and can't find it on Google maps. Any info or other suggestions appreciated. All welcome!

Re: Breeder advice please !
Definitely have a look at the Code of Practice. Not every breeder with a website is a large scale breeder either, we have a website and are not a big operation at all, one litter a year, just had to have an enthusiastic 12 year old web builder and a husband with a hosting reseller account!

Re: Which Labradoodle to go for ? please help !
Apologies, posting from my phone and totally misread your post, thought you were looking for a fleecy coat on a Lab type body. I would agree that an F1b is not the best litter to look at if you are looking for a scruffy coat. IMO an F1 or F2 litter would be better. All the best!

Re: We bought the runt. Can you show me yours?
Welcome to UKLA. Must say I'm another who doesn't like the term "runt", IMO a good breeder won't have a "runt", a good breeder won't allow a little one to be pushed out of the milk bar or picked on by the others. Obviously every litter will have a smallest puppy and as far as that little puppy is si...

Re: Which Labradoodle to go for ? please help !
We had a litter of Miniature F1b puppies in the winter, Mum had a nice Lab shape and out of the five pups two if them are like Mum and more Lab like in shape and the other three are finer boned and more Poodley.

Re: Breeder Forum
I am a member of the Breeders' area and when I joined I couldn't find how to join up either so sent a message to Mark briefly outlining my breeding plans, confirming that our litter would comply with the Code of Practice (don't know if all this was needed) and he let me in the door, hope that helps....

Re: How about this for a cross!
Cute pups but I never like the sound of this statement "WE ARE NOT BREEDERS" :? what are they then with a litter of pups and an older puppy from a previous litter for sale? Always concerns me that this statement is a 'get out of jail' card as far as responsibility for the pups in the longterm or hea...
