So sorry to hear your sad news, Freedom. I'm sure the thoughts and prayers of everyone here are with you and your family.

Re: Where has it gone?
You're welcome. As for Aussiedoodles yes she is Australian based and yes the RSPCA have been to RM 3 times and have yet to convict her as this link will show you http://stoprutlandmanor.wordpress.com/2009/08/17/police-rspca-raid-rutland-manor/ and also if you read Debra's site through you will see s...

Re: Where has it gone?
I can't say one way or another on this as I don't know what dog this is. PS Just guessing, but I think one of the dogs being referred may be "Happy Wanderer of Rutlands". Beverley says on her website that she had been surrendered as a Labradoodle, albeit with no documented history, before being bre...

Re: Where has it gone?
Aussiedoodles the "Bred from the Pound puppy" bit sounds a bit strange I thought that all the Pounds in Australia had to desex their dogs first, is this not the case before they are allowed to be rehomed.. Having worked in rescue in Australia for quite a number of years, I wish that were true Adele...

Re: Where has it gone?
If your protest is to try and prove that the dogs at Rutland Manor are de-barked, why not just ask the people in the UK who have her dogs if they can bark??? simple!!! Just quietly (and for those who may have recently joined us) I don't think the recent debarking is at issue. Beverley has already a...

Re: Where has it gone?
Not an inkling. I suppose I'd assumed they'd been taken surreptitiously by members of Animal Liberation, and that's what the site seems to indicate. Have you heard otherwise?

Re: Where has it gone?
I'm not sure where you got that idea from, Adam. I'm not an activist, or a member of Animal Liberation. I don't know Debra Tranter (except by reputation) and nor do I know who is involved with any of the other "anti-RM" sites. I speak only for myself, and not on behalf of any other person or group. ...

Re: Where has it gone?
Mark, just so we're clear, Debra Tranter runs the Anti-Puppy Mill Campaign for Animal Liberation Victoria (their website is http://www.alv.org.au/index.php and the Prisoners for Profit campaign page is http://www.alv.org.au/storyarchive/0504prisoners/index.php ). Are you saying that they are unreli...

Re: Disability Aid Dogs Dump RM
The EPA (Environmental Protection Authority) is a statutory authority reporting to the State Minister for the Environment, which has the power to administer and enforce State and Federal Government legislation (see http://www.epa.vic.gov.au/ ). It is an entirely separate entity to the Councils here,...

Re: Can we always tell the difference? - please vote
The discrepancies around the "Chesters" and whether they were all one and the same dog has been a frequent topic of discussion on the US and Oz boards. Perhaps RM/TP pedigrees should begin, "Once upon a time, in a land far, far away........"

The stories coming out of Almost Heaven are shocking. Here is the latest on some of the survivors. - it's so sad :( http://www.baltimoresun.com/features/bal-md.gl.puppymill11aug11,0,6467569.story I'm sure that many of the dogs sold by Almost Heaven were not the breeds they were supposed to be, BUT I...

Re: negative critisism
I don't know if you've seen this clip from PETA. It's a bit extreme, but makes a valid point, comparing "breedism" with "racism":
