Re: Complete dry food
I have just changed Lola to Chudley's Classic its £11 for 15kg and it scores 2* on the dog food analysis website but I do supplement with tin food and real food. Lola loves the stuff because its really crunchy.

Re: MUFFY RAN OFF TODAY.
My main advice would be not to call them unless you can 'make' them recall if they ignore you. This is a lot easier when they are younger because the longer they get away with not returning when they are called the more 'deaf' they will become to it.

Re: Frontline
Frontline is poisonous to water creatures so you are not supposed to let them near ponds, rivers ect.. for a couple of days (good luck trying)
As this is frontlines advice I would imagine that it must wash off fairly easily.

and name calling is not big or clever!!!Rosikus wrote:Wow harsh, they've just had to give up a dog they CLEARLY care about and are doing it with the dog's best interests in mind and all you can do is be a complete bitch about it.
Don't think that's what they need to hear at this time.

It was more of a stab at the breeder, immaterial of whether its what they need to hear!

Re: Think we may have to re-home our dog Jake
There is a lot of talk on this website about breeders having their dogs health checked but why aren't you discussing breeders selling to people that can actually meet the needs of a labradoodle.
Not knowing the size!! what a poor excuse! A breeder should have never sold you one!!!

Re: Walking through cattle
We have cow fields on two sides of us and all the cows are fine with the dogs apart from one. Its the same black female that chased my mother in law last year! Ive never had any problems with them but I was wondering if its because I have no fear of them. I obviously give them respect and dont get t...

Re: Stealing other dog's balls - any ideas?
If a dog is obsessed it is because you let it be obsessed.
If you have control of your dog then it wouldn't be able to steel other dogs balls!
So to rectify the problem I would recommend going back to basic dog training e.g. sit, stay, come etc..

Re: Photos of Norwich Doodle Meet today at Winterton
Lola had a great time, she doesn't have many doggy friends so it was great to see her play with the other doodles. I have uploaded some photos but Im afraid they are very Lola biased. Anyways we look forward till the next one! Cheers, Paul http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2157/3542051813_15fc035b2b_m....

Re: Does your dood swim ??
This is exactly the same problem I had with Lola. After 1 month of training she now swims in rivers and in the sea (but only when its shallow and gets deeper). All I did was to keep throwing it in the water and gradually getting deeper and deeper. She is now much more confident. Hope this helps Paul
