Re: Help, waking at 3am !!!!!

Lola is a fantastic sleeper her record is from 12am to 12pm, but a normal day is 11pm till about 9ish.

Why dont you try some 'tough love' and dont get up?

He should be able to go longer, so make sure he's had has an evacuation before bed then leave him till you want to get up.

Re: How do you feed your dog/s?

I feed complete dog food (currently Pedigree better by nature/soon to be chudleys), tinned dog food (butchers superior or winalot classics) twice a day from a raised bowl. We also feed leftovers, scrambled eggs, porridge and lots of bones (knuckle, raw hide, filled ect..)

Re: PLEASE HELP. MY DOOD KILLING RABBITS??????

We had a similar problem with Lola killing rabbits, she killed three in a week and she started to become obsessed. If im honest I didnt mind her chasing and killing rabbits but my concern was that she'd chase one out into the road. The first thing I did was to work on her recall in an area with lots...

Re: Chickens and Doods? Is it possible?

Lola was brought up with chickens and she is absolutely fine. We also have 2x labs and 1x terrier cross which were introduced to chickens later in life and they can all be trusted also. They just need to learn that chickens are "friends not food". The main problem is that the dogs like to help clean...

Re: Odie the terrible - advice needed please.

I was reading something on recall the other day that I thought might help. It said rather than calling them to sit or for a treat, but to call them really excited and when they got close run away from them and play a game of tug or something exciting when they caught up. The idea with this is to mak...

Re: Is she in season or not?

We had the same thing with Lola, with the is she isnt she from about 6 months. In the end she came in season on her 1st birthday!! You definitely know when they do come in though i.e. the trail of blood.

Re: Norfolks best dog parks, beaches and walks

I stumbled on the meet by chance and we only met a few of the stragglers.

We would be very interested in another meet though.

Norfolks best dog parks, beaches and walks

I have a lot of spare time so Lola gets taken all around the place but im getting a little bored of going to the same places, so any recommen...

Re: FEEDING A SPECIES APPROPRIATE DIET

Thank you everybody for your replies. With the BARF diet can/should you give cooked eggs? I only ask because I read somewhere that you had to be careful giving dogs eggs but we have always given our dogs scrambled eggs (coz we have a lot of chickens) and they have always been ok. Once again May than...

FEEDING A SPECIES APPROPRIATE DIET

Im sure that this topic has been discussed before but I was wondering how many people feed their labradoodles a 'natural diet'? For people who do, what do they feed them? For breeders, what do you feed puppies during/after weening. The other thing I was wondering is what benefit is there to a natura...
