Lovely photos. Has Buddy been clipped? My Lottie (Ali's Muffin's sister) was very like him as a puppy she is now like a large woolley sheep and I am thinking maybe I should have her clipped. I think Buddy looks lovely.

I would let them play (under supervision). Play is part of their bonding process and all my dogs have gone through this ritual when there is a young pup introduced.
