Nothing dead yet. But two live mice in the house thanks to the cats getting bored. Caught and crunched a mouse whilst in the park. And two weeks ago caught a live hopping rabbit which she let go on the command drop and happily watched it bounce away.

Re: Bikes and Doods
Have a look at this item on ebay ref 120389088389 its a pole and lead you attach to your bike and allows the doodle to run alongside you. I have one works well much better than trying to hold the lead. Daisy picked it up straight away although she has a tendency to run in front of me when of the lead

Re: When recall goes wrong...
Having similar problems with Daisy have since stopped using the words 'daisy come' and now use 'Daisy cheese' this is getting results especially if we let her get her nose in the cheese bag before we let her of the lead. Shes excellent when at dog training but is too easily distracted when out.

As for temprement she rarely barks has never growled even when I try to provoke her when playing. A totally ch...

Re: Doodles and gardening
We were putting it down to letting Daisy watch The Great Escape on TV as her holes are getting deep enough to start tunnelling toward the fence. I'm keeping her out of the garage in case she tries to ride my Triumph motorcycle.

Re: A police line up - ridiculus
I would suggest its the owner of the dog that needs to be identified as they would be the person charged with being in control or not in this case of the dog. then the owner would have to prove that it was not his dog ie he was looking after someone elses in either case he was the person in control ...
