Re: Bitten.

Glad it is sorted and both are o.k. If the get a scratch or cut my daughter and oh let the dogs lick it! Sounds gross but they say dogs licks antisceptic, wouldn't do it myself although I'm not worried if I get licked on a scratch.

It's been a funny few days as I had my old boy (34) pts on Friday. Freddie had been a bit funny yesterday (our horses are mainly in the garden!) we think he knew something was a miss, the two girls have also been unsettled although we let them see him go and say goodby so we put the girls over the f...

Re: Weird or what

When playing in the garden I taught my GSP to retrieve the ball or frisby, drop it in a bucket of water to get all the slobber off then give it back to me :D Freddie drops stuff in water (we seem to have a lot of buckets and bowls of water) then he runs away :(

Re: How?!?

Well, Freddie is nearly five and there are lots of places I don't let him off the lead. Luckily I rent a couple of fields and just about let him off in there (if he wants to go he gets through the hedge). He was fine until he got to the Kevin age and it just all went haywire. Whistles, balls, runnin...

Re: painfull

When I saw the heading I thought 'My god what's happened' and was another one who thought you were having to rehome Dexter!

I have just had the injections in both my shoulders! The pain is coming back after two weeks but I hope it will not be as bad as before. Good luck with yours :D :D

Re: Transporting dogs in the car boot - advice please!

I often have 4 dogs so no, they are not attached, but they are all taught what order to get into the boot and all wait to have their leads on (if necessary) before getting out. We have taken Freddie on long journeys with a bed in the boot and our luggage on the back seat! He travels absolutely fine.

Re: Fleas again!

Well, I'm glad you did! Was a bit confused about the >8kg because there is a lot of difference between 8 and 30 but if you say Lulu is now 30kg that's fine with me. Like people, some dogs will re-act to stuff that other wont, that's life. Sitting here, having to go out shortly and thinking about rin...
