Re: Food allergies/sensitivities - poll

Freddie doesn't have any tummy problems
I feed him raw with some kibble which he mostly leaves
He is cream apricot.

Don't know if the constant availability of horse sh*t has anything to do with this :D I'm sure it helped keep my old girl a live for longer.

Re: Can they really sense you?

They know! When someone got up for a 'smoke' (urgh) our Mistydog would get up and go outside with them. If they got up to go to the toilet or go home she stayed where she was! They do seem to have a 6th sense as do horses. If I go to the front door the horse (below) will call from her field just dow...

Re: Revolting... What's in your burger?

I think it's the fact that people were conned into thinking they were eating beef. Some horses to be honest would be better off eaten but people should know that is what they are eating. Same as veal. Dairy bull calves are killed just after birth, better they are turned out and butchered at 3/6 mont...

Re: Do you sing to you dood?

Ofcourse, doesn't every body  Isn't it funny that you tend to make up songs for dogs but when I'm our riding I tend to sing things like, home on the range or don't fence me in :D

Radio/t.v.

After the advice about leaving the radio on for Boris how many of us leave something on? As we have a tv in the kitchen it is left on either tv or radio when we go out. Poor horses have radio 4. :D

Re: Hello from boris

Lots of help with the crying, ticking clock, hot water bottle. We didn't have any problem with Freddie but others have. On a serious note, pictures are a must as we are all suckers for puppy pictures. And a very warm welcome to you and boris.

Re: just sold it

Feel your pain. We bought ours two summers ago for £2000. When we were at camp last year it leaked and we could hear it dripping all night! With all this rain goodness knows what it is like inside  We have done five camps, each with a 'guest' so I suppose it has paid for it's self in B&B and lu...

Re: POPPY AGGRESSION SHOCK

Sorry, didn't realise she was such a baby. You have plenty of time :D Like bid says she has missed out on a bit of learning curve by not being with her siblings. My daughter points at her watch (she doesn't feed at the same time every day) and says 'whats the time' They all get excited and go and si...

Re: POPPY AGGRESSION SHOCK

I just remember that everything is mine and the dog owns nothing! I often have four dogs here, Freddie and Barney the rottie are about the same size and two terriers. My daughter buys huge bones from the butchers for Freddie and Barney and small ones for the terriers. We can go and ask every one of ...

Re: What food do you feed your labradoodles?

I find raw is best. Freddie will be 5 in April and has been on raw most of that time and luckily has never been ill. He has 4 bonio biscuits for breakfast which he might or might not eat in one go. Around 7p.m. he has a frozen chicken wing which he loves. He then has some Prize Choice mince, pet min...
