Re: Advice urgently needed!

That's awful, poor little dood, and how lucky you both weren't hurt more.

The only advice I'd have is that Dog's are really responsive to how we act and feel, so you need to be really positive and get him back out walking as soon as possible.

Hope Diesel is better soon!

Re: Its against the law to take home your dead pet from the vet?

As the title says, is this true? My friends lab cross, sadly, had to be put to sleep at the weekend which is obviously deeply upsetting in itself but the vet instantly told her that the dog had to be sent for cremation as it’s against the law to take a large animal home to bury. The vet then told h...

Re: Any Doodle owners for walkies in Maidstone area...

Just turn-up!! I've only been to one of the walks in Mote Park, and it took a while for everyone to find each other, but it was great fun! We're in Sevenoaks but try to explore new places to walk Alfie around there and Maidstone, we'll let you know! Don't forget to post a photo of Dylan otherwise Bi...

Re: Day Care Required Urgently - Wirral or Liverpool

Hi David, Alfie is nearly 7 months old now, and because of my wife's job changing we could no longer be at home between 8 and 4.30 every day, so we advertised for a cleaner/dog walker. She comes in for 1 1/2 hours each day from 12 till 1.30, she walks Alfie for about 30 - 45 minutes in the fields ne...

Re: Potential Essex Meet on the Beach....

Thanks for your good wishes - she's such a slight little poppet and has lost weight which is a worry, she'd made 9kilos last week and is back down to 8.6 and falling...... "Ouch" for little Alfie - hope he makes a quick recovery. No longer such a 'big' man  !! Got to think about spaying soon f...

Re: What toys do your Doods like ?

Alfie's favourite indoors toys are his Kong or Kong Wubba, outside though he has a Silver Streamer (very tough rubber ball on cord from P@H) which is he absolute favourite, so we keep it for walking to distract him when needed!!

Re: pet insurance

RSPCA DO NOT COVER LABRADOODLES. Hi everyone, will post some pix of Finbar (13 wk pup) in due course, but thought I'd add ten pence worth of insurance stuff. Fin came with the smaller Pet Plan deal that covered him to ten wks of age. (I think it was). When we looked for a lifetime policy for Fin th...

Re: Where Does Your Dood Sleep ( Night Time )

Alfie sleeps on the wooden floor downstairs, even when he was in his crate he would push the vet bed, or towels and blankets to one side and sleep on the plastic.

I don't think he is one for creature comforts!

Re: Potential Essex Meet on the Beach....

Hi - we're hoping to be there but Roxy is really poorly at the moment and not sure what's wrong with her. She's been diagnosed by the vet as having some sort of gastric bacterial 'thing' though she's not been sick or anything else..... She's been really listless for 2 full days now. I'm hoping the ...
