searching for a high fibre wet food
Hi Vet visit today for marley to have his anal glands emptied. The vet suggested that the wet food I give wainrights is too high meat content and not enough fibre for him with this anal gland problem. Wainrights is about 5 percent fibre. Marley will not eat fibre or weetabix etc added to his food an...

Re: Tinned food
I give mine half tray each of wainwrights wet for breakfast then either the other half for tea, or 200g each of p@h mince with handful of whatever complete dry food is on offer. THEy both clear their bowls now. WAinrights is high meat content so they only need one tray each a day so keeps cost down ...

Hi there Having recently found out that I could have bought Frontline Combo online for nearly half the amount I paid for it at my vets   , I wondered if anyone can recommend a good site for ordering this plus Milbemax wormer (as it covers lungworm too I would like to stick with this one)...

Marley has always loved Bonios so I used to mash up a few with warm water then stuff the kong with the mixture and freeze it.

The seaweed stuff sounds interesting to stop any possible doggy breath problems
we use the pedigree dental sticks every day. Marley is nearly 3 now and has good teeth.

Re: Dexter being very stubborn and not eating...
True. But there are things other than feeding a whole dry food that dogs can chew on? Bones, chews, dental sticks, etc ?

Re: Dexter being very stubborn and not eating...
Is there any reason why you can't feed a complete wet food if he prefers that? OUrs have mainly wet and sometimes kibble with a different mixer for a change and they clear their bowls which 's great for marley as he is not keen on dry food. I also mix It with a little warm water first to soften it.

Recommendations for grooming clippers please
Hi all Please can anyone recommend some really good clippers for under about £60. The ones I have keep clogging up with hair and this means it takes forever to cut. Does anyone use the Wahl (sp?) clippers and if so any good? Any particular model better? I was looking at the rechargable "pro" ones fo...

Re: Moulting question by a prospective owner
Marley is an F1 and sheds LOADS! Duffy is F2 and sheds less. I have to hoover at least every other day, especially the sofa which acts like velcro.
I love the smell of both of them and hubby frequently catches me lying on the floor with them watching telly with my nose buried in their hair

Re: Clippers=poor Molls!!
Hi there. Molly looks great. I had a go at clipping duffy with clippers that look the same as yours but I found that every time I had done the smallest section the blade was jammed with hair and I had to clear it out. This made it all a very long process. I must be doing something wrong? She was not...
