Has anyone tried Trophy Foods?

I was wondering whether anyone had tried giving their doodle Trophy Foods, a range of holistic foods I came across whilst looking for something new for Podge. At the moment I am feeding him JWB mixed with Nature's Harvest which he enjoys but is having undesirable effects on him and us! He pro...

Re: Does paw size matter?

Hi Lou

Thanks for the info on mini dood sizes. Judging by what I've gleaned about this subject, I think Podge is going to be medium-sized, despite his massive camel-like paws!

Re: Does paw size matter?

Hello Grainne We got our mini doodle Podge from Risdon Farm Dogs, near Okehampton. The mother was a fairly large black lab and the father a black miniature poodle. They had 14 pups in the litter! I have met two other people at puppy training classes who have bought doodles from the same place and th...

Re: Does paw size matter?

Hi Thanks everyone for your comments on doodle paws. I feel much more reassured that Podge is a normal dood and it's everyone else's perception of him that is not quite right! I think Lisa you are spot on when you mention the fluffiness etc of their paws and I think it makes him all the more cute an...

Does paw size matter?

Hi I am wondering whether anyone can tell me whether the size of a puppy's paws reflects its adult size. My miniature doodle has rather large paws, weighs 10 kilos and is 20 weeks old. Every day at least two people (complete strangers) comment on the size of his paws and say he is going to be huge. ...

Re: Puppy Crates

Hi I had never heard of the crate training method until last year and initially thought it a but cruel but after investigating it I am so glad I tried it. I have a 17 week old mini doodle and got him when he was 12 weeks old. From day one he went in his crate at night and has never used it as a loo....

Re: Meet Podge

Hi The name Podge came from my 9 year old daughter. She used it for one of her toy dogs (Puppy in my Pocket) and then suggested it for our new pup. My husband thought it was a good name (but no-one else did!) but then the poor little chap got stuck with it. I must say it does rather suit him even th...

Re: HELLO

Hi Lisa

Nice to hear from you. I'm trying extremely hard to put a pic of Podge on but it's not the most straightforward procedure (or is it me?) but I will get there in the end!

Re: HELLO

Hi I'm also new. I have a black F1 Mini Doodle called Podge (although he isn't podgy - my daughter's choice of name). He is 17 weeks old and is an absolute angel. This is my first dog and I was not sure what to expect but we have definitely made the right choice with a doodle! We started off housetr...
