Re: Food!!!

That sounds very much like Podge when we first got him. All I can say is that it does improve! I switched him to Orijen and I mix it half and half with wet food i.e. Nature's Harvest, tinned sardines in oil, meat from the butchers and he rarely has any odour problems (except when he's eaten somethin...

It's wonderful to see Rufus having fun on the beach again, Katherine. I'm so glad he's better.

No we don't do rain - it's going to be like your picture above Linny, maybe a bit chillier!

Re: Ear Infections

Thanks Jayne - he's a bit better, not totally though. He's having another check up at the vets on Monday - let's hope it's cleared up by then.

Re: Collars - any recommendations please?

I have a Red Dingo collar and lead for Podge and I'm extremely pleased with both. The collars come in lots of great designs, are soft but strong and have a great buckle bone clip which is very easy to take on and off. I have washed it many times when it has changed colour with our red Devon mud and ...

Congratulations Anna - how exciting for you. I expect you feel like you are about to burst with so much excitement on the horizon - new baby, new house, new puppy. I wish you all every happiness.

Re: Hi everyone

Hello Andy and family I would just like to add that my son too was afraid of dogs as he had had a couple of bad experiences as a toddler but I can honestly say that having Podge has been great for him. He was 11 when we got Podge and they are the best of friends. He is still slightly nervous of any ...

Re: Mackerel Sky

Hello Linny

Yes I noticed that out of the kitchen window last night as I was cooking tea and said to myself "red sky at night, shepherds' delight" - but this morning it's a little damp!! Great photo though.

Re: Dog training classes - Started this evening, hmm

Sounds quite normal to me  . By the end of Podge's puppy class he won the prize for "Most Improved Puppy"! We weren't sure if that was good or not :? .

Oh thanks, that's very reassuring and I think this morning Podge has turned the corner. He seems much perkier than he has been since last weekend. :D

Re: Ear Infections

Thanks for that everyone. I'm glad to hear that Cleanaural has worked for Daisy and Barney - I'll give it until tomorrow and see if there's any improvement. Katherine - the vet didn't say what type of infection he has, merely that his ears were a little red inside and a bit waxy. She implied that it...

Ear Infections

Hi On Sunday I took Podge to the vets as he had been shaking his head and his ears seemed to be bothering him. The vet said that his ears were red inside but that I had brought him in early so that was good. She gave his ears a clean out (which he hated) and gave him a pain killing injection. She th...

Doodle in OK Magazine

I have just bought this week's copy of OK Magazine (haven't bought one for ages) and inside there's an photoshoot of new mum Jo Joyner (don't know her - she's in EastEnders). She and hubby are laying on the bed with new baby twins and Ripley the doodle. He's absolutely gorgeous - cream, very shaggy,...
