Hi Katherine - only just logged on and read your post. So sorry to hear about poor Rufus, it must have been awful for both of you. Hope he's back to his usual self soon.
Love and hugs Angie and Podge.

Re: Bess & Podge Walk
Well done Jayne, great photos. I love the penultimate one - Podge and Bess both fixated on the treats in my hand  . I don't know what it is with Podge when he "greets" Bess - he never does it to any other dog  . Must be because she's a doodle! Podge was well puffed after our walk and requ...

Re: South West Snow
Great photos Jayne - black doodles look great in the snow don't they? (and obviously great at any other time too
).
Looking forward to seeing you both tomorrow.

Re: Podge on his first holiday
Hello Ruth. Podge's "facial highlights" have darkened over the winter months. I think they're caused partly by the sun as the top of his head was ginger/golden but has now turned black again. He still has his distinguished ginger beard though! :D Jayne and Bess - we'll see you tomorrow. We don't wor...

Oh very cute Tess - they just love the snow don't they? I don't know what it is, but whether frost or snow Podge just has to roll around on his back and charge about like a lunatic!

Podge on his first holiday
Hi Between Xmas and New Year we had a short break on the Avon & Kennet Canal. When we arrived the boat owner had to take out a special boat to break the ice for us! Even though it was very cold, it was a beautiful day, clear blue skies and bright sunshine. The second day was not so good - lots of he...

Re: Golden eye ointment
Hello Mrs A I've just picked up on this and am a bit confused :?. Podge has had conjunctivitis twice now and coincidentally I have also had it a few days later. Yesterday I went to Boots and bought some Cloremphenacol for myself and asked whether I could have caught the infection from my dog, to whi...

Re: Aggression from other dogs, advice needed
Hello - your experience is very similar to mine (my post entitled Should I report them March 09 - sorry don't know how to post a link). I took Podge on his first walk aged 14 weeks and he was attacked by two whippets who came out of nowhere, barking, circling round us and nipping Podge. The owner wa...

Re: did you get the bissell deal???
I too am a Dyson fan. I've had mine (DC04 lime green one) for 8 years and it is fab and always has been. Also bought one for each set of parents over 6 years ago and no probs either. Hubby has a Henry in his van which he uses occasionally for work and after using this I wouldn't swap it for my Dyson...

Re: Blue- Miniature Labradoodle. 8 weeks to 12 months in Photos!
What a beautiful boy :D and a fab way to showcase him. I too have a mini and people always commented on the size of his paws when he was a puppy, even the vet said "oh, he's going to be huge". He isn't. He's about 20" tall and weighs 21 kilos. I love the picture of you and Blue being reunited at the...

Lovely pictures Linny - sounds familiar wearing two coats and still being cold! I think little Rupert had the right idea after all.

Re: A clever riposte for those wanting to "diss" our doods!
Yes I too have had many more favourable comments about Podge than unfavourable - lots of people want to take him home with them and ask where I got him from. If someone says something unkind it's usually about doodles in general, not my dog in particular but it's still not nice
.
