Re: Lupin!!!

I'm delighted you have a new baby, Bid. She's so pretty, and what a lovely glossy coat. She reminds me of Milly when she was a puppy. Makes me feel very nostalgic. Enjoy her puppy days.

Re: Lola saved me from unconsciousness...

That is quite amazing. How have you trained her to do that? My partner is diabetic and I dread him going unconscious overnight.

Hope you feel better soon.

Re: Jackson - 5 months Old Today

Sorry I don't know a great deal about food, and quantities thereof, but that sounds an enormous amount of food!! I eagerly await an expert opinion on the matter.

Really hope things improve on the biting front soon. I am sure there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Photo updates

She is the sweetest thing ever.

I will be surprised if she doesn't put weight on feeding her Orijen. Milly piled the weight on - over time - on that diet, and we are having to experiment to find the right amount to give her, alternating it with raw food.

Re: Just a trim!!!

What an absolute cutie, Bid. But I have to show my ignorance even more. What is a Freedom puppy?!

I'm assuming Freedom is the name of a dog? Or a breeder? Sorry - do tell me more!

Even so, they are very beautiful.

What's the story with a new puppy? I seem to have missed out on that!

Re: Spoke too soon.....

Hello Just thought I would share my experience with you, in case it's of any help. Milly was a biting puppy, who really wanted all her own way. It seemed nothing, but nothing, worked to stop her biting. I too was at my wits' end. The puppy class trainer said she could see that the relationship betwe...

Re: What health problems has your Dood had?

Milly seems prone to lumps and bumps. She has just come back from the vets, having had 3 lumps removed. We are having them analysed -- hopefully, they are nothing horrible. The original diagnosis was sebaceous cysts, but she's had them 18 months or more now, so we thought it was time they came out. ...

Ohhh...so sorry. How awful for you. Life is so difficult sometimes. You did what you had to, and it was brave of you.

Re: taking your dood abroad

Thanks. All v interesting. Morgane, you won't believe it, but I did ask an official on an Irish Ferries crossing what would happen about the dogs in cars in the event of an evacuation. He looked astonished to be asked the question, and did not seem to be aware of a set procedure. He thought i...
