Do you get 'presents'?
Whenever I come home Stella always brings me a 'present' it can be any of her toys or bones. The thing is I'm never sure just how to accept them, I always make a fuss and say thank you, but do I make her sit before I give it back to her or should I take it and give it back later? Bailey just brings ...

Re: Breeding
I think this photos sums up the difficulty in predicting coats. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u174/Bid_Whittet/IMG_3229-1.jpg These three are all related. The brown/greyish curly doodle is Poppy my F1b doodle. She started life as a very dark chocolate puppy which goes to show that even the col...

Re: A drop in the ocean but they need YOUR help
It's the same story up and down the country I think. :x When we were looking for a dog we first did the tour of all the local rescue centres and sadly they appear to be full of staffies or staffie X's with little history or just picked up off the streets. I'm afraid it wasn't a chance I wanted to ta...

Re: Saturday afternoon was......
It does amaze me that they have personalities at this age. Freedom said the same when I got Bailey from one of her litters.
She did warn me that Bailey was 'lively'... or words to that effect
and she wasn't wrong... the only time she's quiet is when she's asleep

Re: The wonder of rubber gloves
Thanks for the tip.... our house is over three floors and I struggle with the hoover on the stairs. Bailey sheds for England so I'm going to try my marigolds on the stairs tomorrow
- i suspect I'll have muscles like Mike Tyson when i've finished tho

Glad you found it.... sometimes all it needs is a fresh pair of eyes. I've done it myself many a time and not seen what's been under my nose
(think it's an age thing on my part tho!!)

Re: What time does your dood wake you up?
Our two have the run of the house at night and nearly always sleep in our bedroom, unless I leave the living room door open in which case Stella will sneak on the couch, but Bailey will always come up to bed with me. OH can get home from night shift anything between 2am & 4am depending on where he h...
