Re: Rutland Manor. Is this the truth behind the legend?
While I don't agree with puppy farming or any abuse of dogs, I equally don't like to see one breeder attacking another breeder on a public forum. This has just turned into yet another witch hunt! :( Maybe she hasn't had a chance to reply yet as her priority is to spend time with all her dogs rather ...

This is becoming very boring!!!
If you want to have a bitch-fight then do it in private and not on an open forum.
Carole g, I bet you knew this was going to happen!

Re: Proposal for revision to the UKLA Code of Practice
I agree with this except that it would be compulsory for Miniature Poodles have to be hip scored, it is not even a KC recommended health test for Miniature Poodles, whilst if they are done it can only be a good thing, it is asking a bit much for it to be compulsory. I think this is a very valid poi...

Re: Labradoodle Sizes
From what I've found out, the minis are more yappy and make better guard dogs
But I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, it all depends on how much labrador/poodle they inherit.

Re: Health Testing for litters on the ukla?
I think it is important for labradoodles to have all the necessary health tests done. I would be very wary of any breeder who didn't health screen their dogs. I may be wrong, but I don't think many F2 labradoodles have been tested for SA (well their advertisements don't say they have been). So maybe...

Re: Alfie 6 mths nerotic nightmare
Sorry to hear about your problems with Alfie. As the others have said, it does sound like he is suffering from separation anxiety.
My suggestion would be to let him sleep in the same room as the older dog, perhaps with him in a crate so they still have their own space.
Good luck

I read the book. It was so sad that I was in tears.
I don't think I'm brave enough to watch the film.

Re: How to Find a good breeder?
I think bad breeders should be removed from the puppy finder. But naming and shaming would be a very bad idea. This would just end up as a bitch fight and if anyone got their information wrong they could be had up for slander.
