Re: sorry... me and anal glands again

If your dog will eat raw carrots then try that, it works on my Bichon and she doesn't need the occasional anal emptying anymore. Also try giving your dog a marrow bone, it may also help to harden the poo which of course will aid emptying as well.

Re: THUNDERSHIRT

I got Oreo a thunder shirt last year, I got him one, not for any issues, but purely because he adores being touched and massaged and of course as much as I would like to be able to do that to him all day, I can't  :( He loves the shirt though, so well worth the money for him :D http://i123.phot...

Re: Tinned food

My lot have a rotation between naturediet (in packets) and nature's menu, which is in tins, they adore it. Don't ever remember seeing it in PAH so I get mine from here http://www.naturesmenu.co.uk and I would be fibbing if I said I never bought the odd tin of Butcher's Tripe or Chappie from the supe...

Re: Advice on understanding hip scores please

And how far back through the family tree should we request scores for? If a breeder has done his/her homework then as far back as is possible, there is no harm in asking for a pedigree before purchasing the pup and checking it yourself here http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/services/public/health/s...

Re: Designer Dog Health Issues - Let this be a warning

So sorry to read what you have been through Meryl :( Unfortunately it happens, some Doodles come from very bad Poodle ( and Lab ) lines. Not enough pedigree research goes on, health testing the pups parents just isn't enough :!: put two bad lines together and you get a disaster waiting to happen. Wh...

Re: Really Bad Day

There is absolutely no need to be sorry about asking for advice, and as Lucky is still acting normally and is happy then it doesn't sound as though anything is bothering him at the moment. Cat's are very clever creatures and will only do what they are capable of so you will see signs when things are...
