Re: Harvey's eyes

Ahhh bless!! I would certainly get into the habit of trimming early even if you go to a groomers regular there's always going to be the in between stages of growth :) I asked my hairdresser as how to do it ...her advice is go from ear to ear (one side of the head to the other) and create a strand of...

Re: Sofa Doodle

Oh well it looks as if the boy Vince might be the only dog that is not allowed on the sofa or the bed  and that rule has stayed....with the exception of when we go camping he is allowed on the camper seat. Not being a meanie but he is just too BIG for our sofas and it does help when visiting fr...

Re: Dog tags

I'm with you Ianto on the no dog name on disc :) We have our Surname, Two Mobile Numbers, Home Number on one side and Partial Address (ie Road/Street /Area because the disc wouldn't be big enough) and Postcode on the other which I think is what is required by law. No County listed as I work on the b...

Re: Dodgy manufacturers? Surely not!? ...

I'm sure there are some rubbish foods out there, but the combined 'quality' journalism of the daily mail and Channel 5 should probably not be treated as the absolute truth! I agree with you about journalism and TV channel's and their shock headlines/subjects to get readers/viewers  We have lo...

Re: Radio 4 Monday lunchtime - item about processed dog food

We have been seriously considering a complete change of feeding for Vince in the light of a couple of articles ....most recent one online by the Daily Mail today but chrome won't let me link it. Certainly makes you think :? Having worked for a famous Turkey company in Norfolk for a few years and wit...

Re: Stout back in hospital

Glad to read that Stout is a little better :) The Dogs Trust link of things that could harm your pet is scary  We all know of the more common ones but it's a wonder we let our dogs out into the garden let alone go for a walk looking at that :?

Re: Doodles lost in Hants

I saw this mentioned in a magazine the other day being spear headed by Brucie and his family but my PC won't link it for some security reason......it's vetsgetscanning.co.uk there's also a petition to sign on there. We really shouldn't have to do this it should be an automatic thing that the vets do...

Re: Stout back in hospital

Really sorry to hear Stout is unwell. At least you have a diagnosis now and hopefully your vet will get it sorted with the right treatment. Sounds like a bit of a mystery though. As Bid said bulbs are the same as onions/garlic and toxic but I would have thought it must be something longer term to ca...

Re: Furminater

We purchased one for Vince but don't use it because it seems far to harsh on his coat it rip's out the undercoat far too much IMO after only only a few combs and leaves his coat looking and feeling rough and harsh to the touch :? We've gone back to a wide toothed comb and bristle dog brush. I think ...
