Re: Labradoodles and Children with Special Needs

I have a daughter with autism and we got Pebbles mostly for her. Pebbles is fantastic with her and with all kids. She has a lovely temperament is seems very intuitive. She is an ASD because we also have allergies in the family. I live in North London.

Re: How much exercise for my pup?

I think it is 5 min / month of life for lead walks and other exercise is fine as long as they can stop and rest as they wish.

Re: Walking a puppy

I think that the 5min/month applies to walking on the lead, so offlead walks don't count because the puppy can rest when it needs to.

Re: Expert advice needed

Poodle's are still crossed with Australian Labradoodles and they are classed as Australian Labradoodles, I had a look on Heather's website, and I could not see that it said the Dad was a standard Poodle but if she told you the pups were ALF5pp he must be, ASD which is totally different from an aust...

Re: Tomorrow is Waldo's big day

Don't let Waldo know you're nervous he'll pick up on it! We took Pebbles to a new place yesterday and I am sure she picked up on the fact that I was worried she would run off because normally she stays close but yesterday she just decided to wander here and there but we did get her to come back. Enj...

Re: Expert advice needed

i think £2000 is a ridiculous price for an australian crossed with a poodle - that's more the price of an ASD which is totally different from an australian - don't pay that you are being ripped off.

Re: Any chew toy/bone ideas

What is Campylobactor? We use hide chews for the chewing I don't like them much but saves our clothes. Pebbles is getting better about it now.

Re: crates and cars

I have a Touran and a crate because there is plenty of room for it. My daughter has a micra with a dog guard and the dog is fine in the boot.
