Re: Bandanas
Marley has a couple, he wouldn't wear them when he was a puppy, he tried to eat them
. The Labradoodle Trust sells them to raise funds, they are called Pamdannas, a fiver each I think. Very good quality and doublesided.
Good luck with the new puppy x

Good luck with the new puppy x

Re: Thanks for the advice
Marley walks better when carrying his tennis ball, I think it's like a security blanket to him. Not a clue how or why it works, but agree, he is so much calmer when carrying it. Going to do the sitting on the bench thing with him too, he doesn't like strangers at all, so lots of treats and a sit at ...

Re: Antlers
Marley wouldn't go near it. He barked and went daft at it. Pawed it gingerly, but just got himself quite worked up. My pal says maybe it was haunted and he could smell Bambi from it lol, but I'm thinking its just Marley being daft. I sent it on to Barb at the Trust for one of the foster doods. lol B...

Re: Advice on Protein in Diet?
I changed Marley to Acana from Orijen when they changed it to 80/20, he went to the moon on it. Berns said that it shouldn't have made a difference to his behaviour, but it did, big time. He is now on acana and jwb topper, thrives on it so I'm happy too.

Re: Jumping up at strangers
Leave command for Marley on these too, he's not a counter surfer thankfully, but is a sock and towel stealer, trick is not to chase, because then its a game with them. With the people, we use leave it, walk on, and he will usually completely ignore them when off lead. On lead is another matter, it f...

Re: First puppy romp and so proud!
Thats lovely, remember the camera next time - oh, and remember how proud you are because there will be times when you could cry because you think that no matter what you do the dood does what he wants! Just remember, we have all been there, and we all get through it.

Re: Lump???
Marley had a lump on his neck and had it removed. I can't remember the name of it but they are more common in young dogs. He ended up with a 6 cm scar because it was deeper than they thought it was, if they didn't get it all out then it can grow back. They are benign but can keep growing. Best menti...

Re: Back to the vets we go
Hiya, marley has confirmed allergies to dust mite, storage mite and black spot fungus and the rash you describe sounds very similar to his when it flares up - i say it looks a bit like human chicken pox when the spots crust over. So, for the itching, you can give her human antihisamines, not the one...
