Re: another female wanting a home

It's an odd advert too, "the smallest of the bunch and we kept for her temperament", sounds like an ex breeding bitch to me.

Are you near any other doodles? Meeting up with some of her own kind might help her.

Re: New puppy trying to be boss of toddler

Your pup is very young, and a bit nervous. Does she go to puppy club? This is a great outlet for their energy, a chance to play with others of their own age and a source of advice and future friends. The children are also young and need to learn that she is not something to be afraid of nor is she a...

Re: Fundraising idea for the Trust

It sounds a lovely idea, one thing on the justgiving pages, if you do it through the trust they can reclaim the tax, which would be a big advantage, maybe you could do a front page linking to that?

Re: Looking to rehome Millie

How awful to have to make that decision, it must be heartbreaking.

Do persevere with contacting the trust, they will make sure she goes to a good and suitable home.

Such a shame, and after her successes too :( My boss's golden doodle had a broken toe, it took a while to heal but she is absolutely fine now.

Re: Loving home awaiting

I feel for you, it is heartbreaking when you lose a dog, and the house seems so empty without them.

Yes, do talk to the Labradoodle Trust. Barb may be a bit tired after the Doodlefest though! She will know what dogs they have who are not on the adoption boards yet, also those which are coming in.

Re: Fab weekend at doodlefest

The 'fest was a huge success, loads of people and everyone seemed happy. Well done to all the organisers, and all the competitors. On the subject of not being able to read posts because of adverts, if you are reading on something with a copy and paste facility, you can highlight and copy the post an...

Re: Australian Labradoodle free to right home

How terrible for you, it is heartbreaking to have to part with your boy. If you decide to contact the Labradoodle Trust, they do have a waiting list of adopters who have particular needs of a dog, eg good with children, good with cats, non-shedding etc. I'm sure that Barney would fit the bill perfec...

Re: Lab cross labradoodle

We had a foster who was backcrossed to a lab, he was a lovely boy. He had quite a long coat and a cute fringe, and was incredibly affectionate. If I can find any photos I'll post them.

Oh no, you poor thing, sounds a nasty break too. Such a shame you can't come to the Fest, you'll just have to give Wurly lots of extra cuddles instead.

Doodlefest this weekend!!!

Just reminding anyone who doesn't know that it is the 2013 Doodlefest this coming weekend. Anyone who has already been to one will know what a fun and friendly event it is, and this year there are even more things for the dogs (and their owners) to do. It's not often we have the chance to spend a we...
