Re: How rude!!

Kip is actually a golden labradoodle and I want to tell everyone, but their eyes start to glaze over  What's a golden labradoodle? :?: I have both a miniature labradoodle and a miniature goldendoodle. I have experienced very different reactions when I say what breed they are. Everyone has hear...

Re: How rude!!

As I understand it the Aussie doods have very consistent results with their puppies now, and yes Swardie I can see where you're coming from when saying what your dog is. :) They do sound to be more laid back than some of the uk doods (mine anyway :) ). Kip is actually a golden labradoodle and I want...

Re: Guarding the stairs

Is he just taking himself off or is he growling or trying to stop people going upstairs? If he's just taking himself off out of the way then is it a bad thing? :)

Re: How rude!!

I think people are like that because they are jealous - fancy spending all those decades selectively breeding (sometimes badly) then lo and behold a lovely cross comes along which looks good, is beautifully natured and is a wonderful family pet - I think I'd be jealous too  (To all those wonder...

Re: Shock at the vets

I have a standard size dood so can't help with weight, but I think there are certainly better kibbles out there than the one your vet is recommending and receives commission for no doubt. I'm sure there'll be people along with good advice for you. ( I bet there will be wide variations in weight for ...

We use Millies Wolfheart for Kip's evening meal. I like it... and he does too :)

Re: Puppy crazies - how long do they last?????

Hi, I had a terrible "mouther" - who still when excited occasionally forgets not to do it. The best thing we found was to train an alternative behaviour (sit worked for us). It takes time for the penny to drop, but its very useful. Now when Kip's trying to be good he sits. The doodle dashing continu...

Pluto's lovely. Are you sure he's not a "Shire" doodle (those fluffy feet remind me of a Shire horse). :)

Re: Labradoodles weight.

Hi, I feed Millies Wolfheart and am very pleased with the product. I notice they say you can feed this food at any age but I would be tempted to call them and discuss this further as your dog is still very young. :)
