Re: loving home wanted

Oh! I'm so happy to read this. after I looked at the photos, and saw that lovely picture of him looking up with so much love and trust, I couldn't open the thread again to read, it distressed me too much, as you so obviously loved him. As Lola is a service dog we can't have another dog in the house,...

Re: Lola's blog

Aha! Groups should come up in a search though shouldn't they! I can't find any groups at all. lola is on there as Lola Brownlee - Buddy is friends with her. If you add her, I can find it, and then apply... and then she can un-add herself. Thank you! I keep the two pages separate as my page is for po...

Re: The Eyes Have It!

Salt water is good. no more than one teaspoon in a pint and she won't know it's salty but it will still work. May do the job without drops - but oany infection near the face needs to be dealt with.

Re: Newbie - Poppy

Hello, Lola is a Mini Aussie and came from another breeder not far from Raisdoodles. She is scrummy - we live in the south but over the other side near Bristol, but Zooey is a mini Aussie and lives in London, and she is from Rais.

Re: Lola's blog

Oooh, thanks Jodie, I didn't know that, I'll have a look for it...

Hey Maggie, give your niece my love and tell her I'm thrilled she likes my poems. If she comes up with an animal she likes which I have written about, i'll see if I can send one to her. Or to you for her.

Re: Lola's blog

Also realised Lola is on MY blog these past two times - she came with me to the Society of Authors' Children's Writers' and Illustrators' Conference a couple of weekends ago - we had a fabulous time, and she got hugs from some very wonderful authors and illustrators. Today's entry was Shoo Rayner......

Re: Poor Dolly part 2!!!!

If you aren't sure whether it IS clean or not, then put a teaspoon of salt in a pint of boiled water, wait till its cool, bathe it with cotton wool or something else clean. Salt heals as well as killing germs. We kept a terrible wound on our cat clean with this - we didn't notice till it as too late...

Re: Stomach upsets and river water, flooded...

I suspect sewage as we are in the country and some cottages still pump into the river - plus many of the cottages had river water in their dishwashers and toilets...

Stomach upsets and river water, flooded...

We took her out yesterday to look at the floods, and walked through mud from where the flood water had receded. Washed her feet when we got in. But last night, quite late, she suddenly dashed from the room, then dashed back in, yipped... then dashed back out again. We thought she was having a little...

He he! They look lovely. Lola has one but she is so small she trips up when she is wearing it, so I have to cuddle her till she's dry... so I don't use it a lot!
