Re: A mini Doodle in a Mini convertible - advice!
I've not tried a Mini, but I have successfully transported a Skye Terrier (back seat) and a Mini Doodle (front seat - no passenger airbag to worry about) in a Peugeot 106! Both on seat covers with harnesses. Alas, I now drive a Skoda Fabia Estate (great car, but I do miss my 106!) - mainly bec...

So sorry to hear your news, Jo. Hope things are looking a bit clearer now and that Auz is providing his Mummy with lots of doodle cuddles. Thinking of you.

How are our friends in the South West???
Looking at the news reports of the effects of the weather on Dawlish got me wondering how all our friends in the South West are doing. Hope everyone's well and not too badly affected by the weather - thinking of all the Devon Diehards and sending doodle hugs and vibes!

Re: My baby, my pregnancy and turmoil
Just a thought, but I'm pretty sure Maggie111 went through a similar dilemma when she was pregnant. Why not PM her to see if she can offer any advice / reassurance?

Re: Precious only dog syndrome?
Aww, I do feel for you, and also feel a bit guilty as I was one of those who commented on your previous post. If it helps, it will get better. As Jo and Anne have said, it's very early days. Our first dog was an 18 month old rescue Skye Terrier. He hated other dogs, and was nervous of anyone he didn...

Re: Stout back in hospital
So pleased to hear Stout is doing well - fingers crossed he's home soon!
Could he have been munching on Snowdrops? I know a lot of bulbs are sprouting because of the mild winter, but they're due out this time of year, grow in clumps and have slim green leaves. Just a thought!

Re: Any one have a border collie??
We have a friend with a border collie and she's one of the most gorgeous dogs that we know and managed to rid me of my collie phobia. Ah yes, did I say collie phobia? The flip side to the gorgeous Grace is the collie that my Gran had when I was born. That dog had adored my Dad before he married and ...

Oh, Michelle, so sorry to hear that Stout's poorly again. Fingers crossed they can sort out what's causing it and that he'll be much better soon. Hugs from all of us to all of you!

Re: More than one doodle????????
Hi Julie, We started off with our Skye Terrier, Ollie, who came from Manchester Dog's Home, and had one dog for years when we lived near Manchester and both worked longer hours. When we moved to North Wales, Simon really wanted a second dog, but I took some persuading that Ollie wouldn't hate sharin...

Re: North West New Year Doodle Meeting - Jan 12th
Thanks so much for organizing today, Dave. What a fantastic turnout - a real chaos of Doodles! It was lovely to catch up with everyone, and Stan and George had an absolute ball! They've hardly moved since we got back, with Stan currently reclined on Simon's lap and George snoozing next to me o...

Re: Hols for Holly & Daisy???? any advice
Hi Janette, Have you considered North Wales, maybe the Conwy Valley or Anglesey? We've visited both with two dogs several times and have always had a great welcome and found loads of good walking spots. Have a look at Sykes Cottages, they have a lot in the area, several take two dogs and it's often ...

Re: Will these fireworks ever end?
You have my sympathy, Dave! Poor Chica, I hope she's OK. A few weeks ago, I took the boys out for their last walk about 8.30pm one Sunday and some delightful :? person a few doors away was having a party and decided to loose off fireworks just as we reached their house! Fortunately, Stan and ...

Re: Looking for a new puppy and getting a bit confused
Ah, yes, the mischievous side. Anne's right, love them as I do there are times our two have tried the patience of a saint. Stan's pretty good now, but when younger he could be a little sod to get back on a lead when he'd had a run - a stage that we're currently 'enjoying' with young George. :? :x Ge...
