Re: F1B Doodles?

I have found that backcross doodles do tend to favour the poodle build - but not always .... I guess an ideal backcross would have the curly/fleece coat and a nice chunky build.(imo) 8)

Re: F1B Doodles?

In my experience as a breeder the F1B's do definitely tend to have a more woolly or fleece coat ... whilst not guaranteed of course - but they are 75 % poodle and only 25 % lab (no bad thing imho  ) so it should figure that a flat coat is less likely.

Re: A Member of the UK Labradoodle Association?

In hindsight I would suggest that calling a website forum an "association" was a bad idea and misleading.

Off topic I know but Mark is there any chance of adding a few more smilies to the newly "spring cleaned" forum... although I must say I do like the new grinning one you've added.

I am not saying that anyone can, or should, do it but I have had over 40 years experience in dog breeding and am very adept at palpating for pups :D. In fact I have had people come to me via the vets as I am better at it than they are . It should not be attempted by anyone without careful tr...

I don't think Tarquin meant anything by her comments at all ...

She was merely suggesting that there could be a possibility that it was her latest doodle that triggered the allergy since she had been ok (as far as we know) up and until recently.

Unless of course you suddenly acquire magic fingers like our esteemed expert here, then you'll just be able to lightly run your fingers over Scarlet's tummy and know, without doubt, how many there are in there! That would be so !     On a serious note, it is my opin...

I have no advice to give you - I am really sorry. :( But just wanted to say what a vindictive, spiteful and malicious thing for her to do ..... you could have said anything during that call that you would not want all those people to know about ! Ok you made a mistake but there would have been a far...

Please :!: I have had 2 people contact me this week and basically call me a liar when I have told them the truth about Labradoodles. Both families have now contacted other 'breeders' and reserved F1's. One chap even phoned me back to tell me I needed to get my facts straight as the breeder he has g...
