Re: What's Your Favourite Book?
I love books, could talk about them all day. I think I have two favourite books, they are both very different so difficult to choose between, Life of Pi by Yann Martell and Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson. Also recently enjoyed In the Country of Men by Hishram Matyr. Currently readi...

Re: wet or dry food?
My reasons for preferring dry dog food, JWB, are purely selfish, although I understand it to be an excellent brand of dog food so not doing her a disservice at all. When we had our cat we discovered dry pet food and it was a revolution, no more stinky half finished cans of food, even the one meal po...

Re: Can my picture be smaller?
Thanks Bella, I was having the same problem with the big pictures, they were making the screen barmey and the posts difficult to read. I've put up a new pic of Pippin, although it is still about two weeks old, I need to upload some new ones as she is changing so quickly, she is starting to get a lit...

Re: Peeing and pooing in crate - is this normal!!!??????????????
How strange, when I posted on this thread earlier I saw nothing about your son or Molly's injuries (think I possibly didn't notice that this had gone onto a second page), hope Connor is better soon, glad Molly is better (although your Molly and the stairs story has spurred me on to get a stairgate).

Re: How long do your doodles hold their bladder?
Pippin is 9 weeks and has been going 11pm to 8am for a number of nights now, during the day however is a different ball game, we are in and out to the garden and mopping up wees on the floor just about all day long.

Re: Has the price of buying a Labradodle gone higher, If so why?
We were more than happy to pay the fee for Pippin, she was from what we could see a pretty average priced labradoodle but some people have been quite surprised at how much she cost and I have had the odd raised eyebrow particularly as she is a cross rather than a pedigree, however it doesn't matter ...

Re: Can any FIFE doodle owners recommend boarding kennels?
I've just contacted a fantastic looking boarding kennel and they have said they would be more than happy to take Pippin in May (she'll be 8 months then), going to have a look in the next few days and see if the reality lives up to the website.

Re: Can any FIFE doodle owners recommend boarding kennels?
I will look into all these ideas, I think if we can't get her into a kennel I will probably ask my Mum to come over, I just worry it's too much for her but she occasionally looks after our boys overnight and to be honest I think Pippin is less work!

Re: Collitis, feeding chicken and rice, normal food, when/how?
We have Pippin back onto puppy food again, JWB, vet happy with this choice, she said this is what she would recommend for her. Getting used to puppy poos again  they are quite soft (the chicken & rice diet made them quite firm, like little logs) keep having a panic every time she goes think...
