Re: disaster with a jogger ;-(

[quote="Ali Cat"]Eric weaved in between her legs and sent her flying - headfirst into a tree trunk. She was knocked out for a while, eveyone gathered around (Eric bouncing around like a bad Tigger impression) debating whether to call the ambulance. Oh my word - how awful !! I've calmed down a bit no...

disaster with a jogger ;-(

Took Teddy to the park this morning - we've been there during the day but this was our first early morning walk. I let him off lead, as usual, up on the fields and he stuck to me like glue as always. Then we walked down to the lake and I kept him off lead for a bit as it was so quiet and he's used t...

Wow - 1st prize !!!

We took Teddy to a little fun dog show near us today really just for the socialisation. We entered him in the "most appealing puppy" class just for a laugh - and he WON !!! :D I don't know why I am so surprised - we think he's the most gorgeous puppy in the world, the judge evidently agreeed. And we...

Toileting query ?!

Teddy is 12.5 wks old, and has been clean in the house since virtually day 1 with us. He barks at the door if he needs to go out and will wee on command. We are now getting out and about and have had a few walks in the park - he has weed once when off the lead yesterday but otherwise seems very relu...

Re: Freya's puppies in their new homes

Hi Rach, We're doing fine thanks ! We're managing to get out & about too - and have our first puppy training class tonight, eek !! Teddy can do "sit", "paw", "wait" and "down" already and isn't too bad on the lead so it will be interesting to see how he copes with the distraction of other puppies ! ...

Re: Advice on play biting? Also gun training!

The way we get Teddy to stop biting (us OR the furniture !) is to shout "AH-AH" very loudly (someone told me that this is the noise the bitch makes if a puppy bites too hard). We also give him something straight away that he IS allowed to chew. He certainly knows what it means - my parents met him f...

Re: Freya's puppies

Aaaww - well done Linda - the end of another era !
If the new owners of Freya's other pups are even half as happy as me and David then you and Alex have done a fantastic job !
Roll on next year and some more wonderful Beeston puppies

Re: Freya's puppies in their new homes

Can't remember who it was who told me that a small water bottle with a few bits of kibble in provides much amusement - for both puppy and owner ! Whoever you were - thanks !! Here's a video of Ted : http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/oo298/ebug99/th_Superted.jpg First time I've tried to upload a vid...

Silly b*ggers - I do hope they weren't expecting a reward :?
Fortunately my cats are so timid, I can't imagine anyone getting near enough to pick either of them up !
