ALV (Animal Liberation Victoria) is an Australian organisation dedicated to helping all animals, with a strong focus on factory farming and puppy mills.
Your help is desperately needed to help close down Rutland Manor Labradoodles (also trading as New Covenant Pty Ltd, and Warragul Boarding Kennels & Cattery), a puppy mill near Warragul in Australia. Rutland Manor has sold thousands of puppies over the internet, and exports to 23 countries, mainly to the USA and UK. Council have so far failed to take action despite evidence of numerous cruel and illegal practices and other breaches of the Code, and these dogs urgently need your help NOW. For information and pictures on this latest campaign, and to find out what you can do to help, please go to http://www.alv.org.au/issues/puppyfactories.php
ALV has been instrumental in drawing public attention to the existence of many other puppy mills, and (in conjunction with other animal protection organisations such as the RSPCA) has been successful in rescuing the abused dogs, and in closing them down. See http://www.alv.org.au/storyarchive/0504 ... index.php.
Animal Liberation Victoria is located in Melbourne Australia, and is acknowledged and respected as Victoria's most powerful animal rights organisation. ALV is solely funded by memberships and donations from the public. For more information on ALV, see http://www.alv.org.au/about.php.
