A trip to the vets with 14 puppies ( pictures )

Post by madaboutdoodles » 26 Nov 2009, 22:09

Hi,
We had to take the puppies to the vets yesterday for their 6 week worming, it's like organising an militiary operation getting all 14 there. :D
First getting them all piled into the large crate in the back of the car, then getting to the vets and having to swap them into shopping trolleys to bring them into the vets ( in pets at home ) crate is way to heavy to carry with everybody in it. Last time we were on time for the appointment at the front of the shop, but by the time we got through the shop to the vets at the back we ended up being late  ( everybody wanted to say hello and take their pictures )

Here are some of the pictures, hope you like them :D

All ready for the off

One trolley was not big enough, so had to have two

Your puppies are just adorable. A real credit to you all and especially Cass. 8) I'm not surprised you got a bit held up. Honestly, they just look wonderfully well. 8) I've never seen a shopping trolley full of labradoodles - it realliy is quite a sight to behold. Who is the gorgeous little one just sitting to the right of the would be escapees, Biscuit and Muffin? What a little beaut. They all are though.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How absolutely fabulous they all are, I'm sure it must be really hard work for both Cassie and you to take care of them all - but you must be so thrilled by them!
What was the vets reaction when you took them in?

That's just so cute!...it's the best trolley load I have seen in a long time

Have just been showing the pups to my Granddaughter Asha, and telling her their names...she has a question for you.
Why didn't you name one Smarty?. (. because as Asha says Doodles are all very clever )...

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, they certainly are a sight to see in those trolleys and most people are completely speechless when they see them and then when they realise how many :D The usual reaction we get is OMG, closely followed by " can we take a picture"

Hi Hel&Mark,
That is the adorable Crumble, he is so lovely and just wants to lick everybody to death :D

Hi Linny,
I really wish I had your granddaughter to help me when I was trying to pick their names, I never thought of smarty ( great name ) well done Asha ( which is also a beautiful name by the way )
