lanarkshire or glasgow meet?
hi everyone, we live in east kilbride near glasgow, Dibzy is 6 months old and would love to meet other Doodles in our area, we feel we are the only ones in the area

Re: lanarkshire or glasgow meet?
We are in Cumbernauld & have been feeling the same but have spoken to a member from Glasgow who told me they have meets at Glasgow Green (sometimes 30 doodles) - I am so excited n can't wait till the better weather comes! Juneau is nearly 7 months and loves other dogs :}
New doodler - its a good excuse for being a bit dotty
Re: lanarkshire or glasgow meet?
We are Scottish Doodlers too, we have had a few meets, they are usually advertised here and on Doodle Times, we used to meet fairly regularly at Baloch (usually a big meet) but have also had meets at Hamilton, Glasgow Green (not with 30 Doodles though, that must have been someone else), Portobello beach and Devilla Forest, Kincardine. Would be good to meet both of you and your Doodles at a meet sometime!

Re: lanarkshire or glasgow meet?
We have been to meets in Balloch a few times, but there has not been one recently
.
We walk in Rouken Glen Park in the mornings nearly every day and have many friends up on the meadow (or puppy field as it's sometimes known
).
It's a great place for socialising as there are many different types of dogs in the park and quite a few doodles.
The meadow is a good place to let us dogs run free
and my sidekick Amber is on constant guard against interlopers i.e. joggers, cyclists, "Douglas Walker" etc.

Hi Sarah, - lol I'm fine thanks,Pippin wrote:Joanne, Weecheekymonkey used to arrange the Balloch meets but I've not seen her on either forum for ages.Hope she's OK.

I've received a few emails and 1 or 2 phone call over the past while, folks have been thinking that they'd missed out on a meet and asking when the next one is so, think its about time that I get planning, eh??? lol
So.....What do you think everyone ??
Balloch meet 1st weekend in March??? (please don't say thats mothers day cos I've a bad habit for that) lol

If that sounds good enough I'll start a new thread on both DT and here!

hiya
im in the Airdrie area and would love to come but i would be so mortified by jacks behaviour.....no matter what i do jack thinks people are there to be bounced on and just goes crazy when meeting new people! He should have been called marley cause he acts exact same as the mental in marley and me!
ordered a dogmatic collar today so if that works im in.

Re: lanarkshire or glasgow meet?
Ooh we are just outside stirling and would love to come so I'll keep a look out for further details. Isla also jumps when she meets someone so it will be chaos with all these mad doods running about. Ballach on the 1st would be great for us, we have never been on a doodle meet before so it will be great to meet others who dont seem too far away either!
