Northumberland??

Post by tashanlouie » 12 Jan 2010, 20:02

We are planning on taking the dogs on holiday for a week in Feb, I really fancy Northumberland.
I've seen a few places & wonder if any of you can reccomend anywhere nice or know the places I like.
One place is Beadnell and the other Kielder/Bellingham

Any ideas/info welcome :D

We have stayed in Beadnell last 2 years in Oct ( but the weather was great)
Its a great base for seeing all of the Northumbrian coast line.
We were lucky enough to have a cottage 500 yds from the beach
Even luckier to meet up with the friendly NorthEast crew on one of their regular meets

Beadnell, Bamburgh, Craster, Alnmouth - all great places to enjoy the beautiful Northumberland coast. Bellingham is very pretty too - a bit further inland but the coast is only a short drive away. Kielder is further inland and great if you like lakes and forests but I'm sure Louie & Daisy would LOVE our beaches.
Let us know when you're coming and we'll rally the troops for an extra-curricular doodle meet. It would be great to see you :D
