Weight check

I have read with interest the difference in weights of our labradoodles and how varied they are at even a young age. Even when told about their parents and seeing their siblings there is no guaranty how big they will grow Bess's brother lives very close to us and is at least 2 inches taller and much wider but then he is a boy

I decided to get Bess weighed today as she's 1 year and 6 days old, not that it's the easiest to do. I don't know whether it's the vets or the scales she dislikes? I thought it would be easier this time being older but I was wrong. Eventually got Bess on the scales, seated and she looked petrified not surprising they all remembered Bess from the last time at 7 months old

Anyway I was surprised she's only 21.4 kilos (when still) so hasn't put on much weight since 7 months weight 19 kilos. Bess is our healthy & dainty little girl

That IS surprising! She doesn't look at all teeny Poppy is a trim 18kg, but she looks like a hairy whippet - Bess looks like a healthy normal doodle girl

Bobby will be 2 at the beginning of June, he's 25" to the shoulder and 32 Kg, time does seem to have flown, don't know whether its having him or just our age

Last time we weighed, Toby was 33kg and Boris is 32kg.

That's strange, Dotty was weighed at vets yesterday (may need to start a thread, am worried about her) and she is 21.4kg at nearly 11 months. I think she is about 21 inches tall. She was weighed in January and March and was 20.2kg both times so has only put on weight in the last month.

When Dillon was weighed at the vet 3 weeks ago he was 37.2kg and Darcy is 43kg

No wonder Bess gives them a wide berth

Bess weighs one kilo more than Rufus, Jayne He is 20.5 kg, very lean (although he looks solid) and very well developed muscles. Unlike Bess, Rufus adores the scales at the vets and can't wait to sit on them We call in about once a month for a weigh in and the staff are very generous with liver treats.....

Ozzy is 8mths old was weighed Monday and was 27.2kg , last weighed 6th March and was 21.6kg, so still gaining weight and eating well !!!

Lottie was weighed at the vets yesterday and she is 16k. She will be 6 months old on 9th May. Vet reckons she'll be 25-30k when fully grown so a way to go yet.

Ambrose is 31.6 kilos and very poodly in build, Huggy fluctuates between 44 /45 kilos and is built like a cross between a Lab and an elephant
