I've just caught up on this too, th family must be so relieved. Thank goodness they were found, did they catch the culprits or were the pups just 'found' somewhere?

Terrible but great ending.

I hope others make sure their dogs are microchipped as this is vital.

Bruce Forsyth (sp) daughter lost her dogs to dog napper but got them back after a few weeks but they were in a terrible state.

It does remind us of the risks of dog kidnapping.

I'm not sure how they were found although there had been an article in the local paper. Very scary though.

Just glad it ended well and in the end no one was involved. Will make the owners sleep better.

Hi, so glad they have been returned. When we had Coby microchipped we sent off a pet log registration form and for a one of £10 fee i upgraded to their premium registration. If a dog is lost or stolen and happens to be microchipped and petlogged, head office send out a text and email to every local county ward and any organisations etceg rspca, loca vets etc so that any dog coming in can be checked against the missing dog. At the time I thought its paying for something that surely could not happen????????? Glad ive done it now
just checked detaills- you get automatic email alert activation sent 30mile radius of where pet went missing to vets, dog wardens etc; emergency contact dertails stored; holiday details so that if goes missing on holiday, you can still be alerted etc, and can text them if pet goes missing
