Stoutwatch in Devon a.k.a.Stout on holiday in Devon - part 2

Post by stout » 29 May 2011, 23:11

Well, due to popular demand, Stoutwatch is back, and this time he's having a ball on the beach. Well, to be accurate, it is actually the dunes behind the beach at Croyde - no dogs on the beach in Summer.

We were wondering through the dunes and Stout suddenly stopped and started digging. Doodles have webbed paws and I think this must help with shifting sand too - Stout had a huge hole dug in no time. It was big enough for him to stand up in and only see the top of his back!

For those of you with slower connections, or who don't want to download the videos, here are a couple of snaps.

Digging:

Happy viewing stoutwatch fans...

We had great fun on the way back too. We went to the Wooden House and met up with Hari and Inka, Ann and Ben. The doodles had fun, and Stout showed Inka how to play in the paddling pool. And before he started, Hari said he couldn't get all that wet in only a couple of inches of water! How wrong could you be!

On the flip side he then rolled around where a pine tree had just been removed, and so he smelled pine fresh in the car on the way back home.
Cheers,

Chris, Michelle & Stout

He did seem very determined!

Couldn't spot anything which he was actually digging for i.e. food or anything.

Definately seemed to enjoy it!
