Naughty dog

Post by Daisy2 » 06 Jun 2011, 22:46

Yesterday I cooked up a big rib of beef for sunday dinner and to make a curry with the leftovers. I stupidly thought I had pushed it far enough backwards on the worktop but I was wrong. I went upstairs and came back down to find him polishing off the whole joint. We didn't even get to taste it as it had only just come out of the oven.

Then.....
We were walking along the canal tonight and we went passed some houses that are right on the front of the towpath. We went passed 1 house that had its french windows open and Wilf decided he was going to explore inside it  . I went running after him and called him but he ignored me and went running into the house. I went up to the door and shouted "hello I am sorry but my dog has just gone in your house" and a voice said "I know", I looked inside and Wilf was stood infront of a woman who was standing back against her kitchen units with a big plate of food in her hands. I shouted at Wilf and he jumped and tried to run off up the stairs, luckily I grabbed him before he could get there. I apologised to the woman and dragged him out. I thought the woman took it quite well considering she nearly lost her tea  and I am afraid I did have a little chuckle to myself afterwards as I thought it was quite funny.

He can be a little trying sometimes.

My mouth is watering at the thought of that beef....lucky Wilf.

That did make me laugh though. Dave likes all these little "bad" things they all do, he says it stops them from being dull and gives them all character.

That poor woman, what would you have done if Wilf (who is soooo cute) had managed to of eaten her tea???? That would of been so funny

That is hilarious

Charlie is partial to picnics. As he approaches, people coo and say "oh he's so cute".... they soon change their minds once he has rummaged through their lunch

I think if Briar had nicked a joint from the worktop she'd be in the dog house for ages !

Naughty Wilf eh and then running into that womans house ! I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall

That is so funny, it reminds me of when Leon ran into someone's house when we were on holiday and came out triumphantly carrying a toy monkey!
