luna's haircut and pics of our walk today

Post by Rowan11 » 10 May 2012, 20:40

I gave her a haircut earlier in the week. when my oh seen it he wasnt happy  yet he was the one that was telling me she needed a trim but aparently his idea of a trim and mine are quite different
His response was "What have you done!!!"
i dont think she is that short at all and the thing is it takes ages to do so im not likely just to take a little bit off, only to have to do it again in a few weeks.
ahh well - you cant please everyone

just to show you the difference this is before

and after

You have done a rearly good job ,its just the right length ,our dexter was cut down to nothing a couple of weeks ago but its growing back again now ,its so much easyer ,to keep clean ,cause he loves to go in dirty muddy puddles ,you should be very pleased with yourself ,i wish i could do it.
Image this is when grandaughter put dexter some platts in.

Dawn she looks absolutely fantastic! Lola is going tomorrow and im really worried. The groomer has already said she is going to have to be shaved and that her longest blade will only give her coat half an inch in length  Do you cut Luna's with the scissors?

It took her nearly 2 hours last time with the scissors as she was thinning it out too as its so thick! Wants to try the clippers this time but she is worried they might not go through her coat  It will be the last time she goes there if its a mess :x I'll take some 'before' and 'after' pics and try and post them tomorrow.

How is it possible that Luna now looks even cuter!!

Her coat looks really soft and the cut looks very professional, you've done a great job! :D

I trimmed Alfie's fringe the other day and my husband moaned also, he said he likes him to look like a funky dood!!
I prefer it when he can see!!

Must book him in soon but not sure if he should be trimmed or clipped back ready for the warmer weather?
Alfie I mean, not my husband!!

as usual, Luna looks am absolute picture of loveliness. I think you do a fantastic job of groomer her Dawn, you should think about taking it up as a profession. If i lived nearer to you i would certainly be happy to pay you to give Riley a haircut :D
