The space hopper is dead!

Post by Olliedoodle » 19 May 2012, 20:43

Ollie's 3rd birthday present lasted exactly 5 minutes!

We did umm and ahh about getting him it, but stupidly thought he might treasure it

Hence why one of his many names is The Dark Destroyer

At least he killed it properly, it must have been exciting. And you won't have to try and stick it back together. I have a collection of soft toys awaiting mending, our dogs aren't too destructive but visitors sometimes can't resist trashing them. Sally is very fond of her duck collection and so I feel obliged to get them quacking and reheaded.

the Wilster loves de-stuffing toys - so I get them for him just to see the look of pleasure on his face

having said that, he will then play with the carcass for days on end :D

Oh no!!

I'll make sure Buddy doesn't see this picture... I think it would upset him, space hopper is one of his fav toys!!

Glad Buddy isn't a toy killer! It must be very expensive to keep him amused!!!

I'm just catching up on posts and when I saw that I guessed immediately what was coming next :!:

my mum bought Riley one of these the other week, it has lasted slightly longer than Ollies but he has just managed to put a hole in the ear and the stuffing is starting to come away (the squeek is still working though  )

Well it was his Birthday so it is allowed.

Lara is the same. She loves destroying toys. It is such a shame as she is such a softie, but turns into a toy killer in seconds. Well actually a toy, phone, glasses, socks, knickers, cashmere jumper killer.
