Goodness me, I did not want to be crying......
How can it happen? Such an adorable dog though.

Wow, such a powerful video. And a true testament to how special our canine companions are.
A shocking coat and extreme fear of being touched indicate years of neglect and abuse. A human would need years of therapy. Yet one kind touch is all it took to convince this dog it had nothing to fear. How a person can abuse an animal filled with so much love and forgiveness is beyond me.

Oh my goodness ! That poor lovely dog. So pleased that she was re-homed. That's fantastic footage - really shows the sadness, kindness & happiness. You would have to have a heart of stone not to feel something watching that. Xx

It's a disgrace that this happens.
It is very special to see the tail start to wag though, I hope Edie gets lots of hugs now.

I viewed this video earlier on this morning but was too upset to respond. Words cannot describe the disgust I feel for those responsible for this little dogs mental and physical condition. There is absolutely no excuse given the amount of free help and advice readily available. Thank God little Edie is now safe and thank God for all the caring people involved in rescuing her and many more like her.
