Arnold

Girls (and boys) I need your help.

I work for BA and was just looking on the classified ads page of the intranet and someone has posted this ad

Arnold, a loving 3yr old medium sizedSchnauzer, gentle, great with children and well trained, is in desperate need of a home. Currently held in kennels, he is due to be destroyed in three weeks unless a home is found.

I have emailed the lady and am waiting for a reply. Why would someone destroy this dog!.....do you think shes fibbing a bit?. If this is the case, I'll take him in and find him a home, even if i take him to battersea it's gotta be better than putting him down!. Just sounds a bit strange to me.

Any advice on what i should ask and what i should do if i go and pick him up would be gratefully received, i cant just leave him....
let me know, Andy

Aaaawwww, how sad, what a horrible ad. Perhaps there is a breed specific rescue that might be able to help!

Good luck, hope you take him.

For once i am speechless, surely no vet would agree to destroy a young healthy dog unless it has aggression probs, but Arnold sounds a dream.
Andy any idea where the kennels are?

Thats so upsetting Andy. :cry:

Maybe she has had a change of circumstances and can't keep him after 3 weeks ? Best keep an open mind.

Let us know what happens.

I will keep an open mind. I've got a feeling he's not her dog for some reason......not sure why.

Hows your bum?, have you got some leathers for your bike yet ? :wink:
