Beach

Post by mistydog » 03 Mar 2013, 21:52

It's been a funny few days as I had my old boy (34) pts on Friday. Freddie had been a bit funny yesterday (our horses are mainly in the garden!) we think he knew something was a miss, the two girls have also been unsettled although we let them see him go and say goodby so we put the girls over the field and took Freddie to the beach :D He had a lovely time, OFF THE LEAD :D He met lots of dogs and people and a seal (which we kept him well away from until it was attacked by three dogs and he ran to see what was going on) but we ran (best we could at our age  ) and grabbed him although I don't think he was going too near. I wish people would just keep away and leave them in peace. any way he had a lovely time then a play with our Daughter's 3 dogs. He is now knackered :D

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It is very hard to make the decision about putting our furry friends down but it is so much kinder than letting them suffer. I am pleased you had a good time on the beach to help clear away those blues. Thinking of you x x

I'm so sorry - after 34 years that is going to leave a big gap :( :( . Is it the one in your signature photo?

A good run on the beacj will have done everyone a bit of good - take care of yourself, because thes things always take it out of us.

How sad for you all :( Getting out in the fresh air is good medicine for the heart I think - I'm glad Freddie was well behaved so you could all enjoy it x

Sorry to hear about your horse, it's a long time to have a pet. Sounds like the beach was the perfect medicine for you all. (apart from the poor seal - I've never seen a seal being attacked by dogs, how awful!)

Thinking of you x

So Sorry for your loss. :(
He was lovely looking boy. :)
That poor seal  , so sad when other dog owners don't respect the wildlife. :(
Glad Freddie had a good time with your daughters dogs. :D
What type of dogs has your daughter got?

Daughter has got two little terriers, both good ratters :D One is mainly border and wirey the other looks like a little black and white mop! Her other dog is a rottie, same age as Freddie but in truth does as he's told more and quicker than Freddie :D He actually wants more cuddles than Freddie. Her oh is a trucker so I am happy that he sleeps on her bed. They are all just lovely as are most dogs
