What a fabulous picture - they are both just so photogenic. How are you coping with this virus, hoping that you and the family are managing to stay safe and well.

Its hectic at home currently, both of us are still working full time as it stands plus we've got Eddie running about and Roker to deal with as well. Thankfully Roker is pretty chilled out and is now over the initial why are all of you still here all the time instead of me having my quiet time and he just lays on the stool in the sun most of the time. We're lucky that where we live its only a few mins walk to plenty of open space so he is still getting the walks he always does with us. Our main issue is that both me and Roker are probaby ready for a hair cut!!

We should have been in Robin Hoods Bay from last Friday to this Friday with friends so missing that and Roker is missing his fun on the beach time but we'll be back there at some point soon once we've got through all this.

Hope everyone else is keeping alright.

That time of year for my post to revive this thread because its been Rokers birthday again....Wednesday saw him, somehow, turn 8yrs old!!

He celebrated by going out with our dog walker to the local park and playing with some other dogs apparently running round like a loon with a very large husky before spending the evening, as he does most evenings, making himself comfy!!

Him and Eddie are still thick as thieves and she loves the fact their birthdays are just a couple of days apart...she was 4 a couple of days before Roker turned 8.

Hello Jon. Eight years, goodness where does the time go?? Good to hear from you and thank you for the lovely pictures of Roker and Ellie. He looks fabulous and Ellie is all 'growed up', bless her. That is a wonderful woodland place for walkies too. Hope you and the family have managed to stay well and safe over the past very strange year. All the best to you all and a Happy Belated Birthday to Roker. xx

Yep its flown by and couldnt have asked for a better dog...other than the occasional barking to let us know someone has shut a car door three streets away and we need to be told about it he is a star. Eddie is growing up fast as well, no idea how she's been around for four years now either! Great how well they get on.

We've all managed to stay safe despite being back in work, Eddie back at nursery etc and we're lucky that both Eddie and Roker have handled it all pretty well. Fortunately that woodland but you mentioned is not far away in the car if Eddie is with us or you can walk to it as well on a longer walk. We are also on the edge of Chesterfield so 5 mins from our house we can do plenty of walks without going near roads which makes walking him very easy.
